Never having entered a horse show before, our Son-in-law
took this beautiful gelding to a local gaited horse show and won
his classes hands down. Following which, he entered in our
state fair and won there too (this judge was FOSH ... and we
didn't know what that was at the time.
In two shows, he has won 4 Blue ribbons and 3 Red ... including
the coveted judges choice award from the FOSH judge. We
were stunned. Although we knew we had quality stock, we
never imagined ourselves showing our horses.
This man has made us rethink that position.

him an ideal saddle horse. Smooth gait, easy going
temperament. A do it all kind of horse. Boasting lines

"He's Black Hills Skipper" (Doc) has been invited to the
Cow Palace to perform in reining this year (2008). One of
the greatest honors bestowed on any horse or owner.
Gait, temperament, and athleticism is what makes a great
pleasure horse. It would take a lot for us to want to sell
him. He's my husband's favorite.

showy with that smoky black coloring. Pleasing in temperament, this
young man is going to be an awesome adult.
